The celebration of the first edition of the Competition Motor Show, Auto Racing, has confirmed that the segment of the sport of the four wheels needs a forum in which all the synergies of the sector converge. The Show, promoted by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, brought together professionals, companies, athletes and fans for three days in the Madrid Arena of the Casa de Campo who bet on defending a stronger, more educated and more supported competition in all disciplines.

With more than 100 exhibitors and three hundred brands represented, Auto Racing It gave joint visibility to a representation of all the agents involved in motor sport: training centers for technification and engineering, brands, trainers, organizers of tests and circuits, auxiliary industry, competition teams, etc. More than 6.000 people visited the Hall and were soaked in sports and motors beyond the big and media events.

The Hall showed dozens of racing cars of all sports disciplines. The public was able to know the peculiarities of the diversity of Drivex with its Formula 4 and the Mercedes AMG GT3; the Toyota Kobe Motor Cup; the SSangYong Tivoli DKR with which the brand will compete in the Dakar 2019; the Abath 124 Rallye that competes in the CERA; the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup; Ginetta and Mosler from the Escuela de Pilotos team that participate in the CER-GT; the Lotus Exige Cup, current leader of the Madrid Asphalt Rally Championship, and Emilio de Villota's Formula 1, winner at Mallory Park in 1977, among many others.

In the satellite pavilion We checked the engine power live with exhibitions of various modalities (kart-cross, drifting, rally, mountain, etc.), and outside the trucks-workshop of the teams were positioned in a particular paddock. On Saturday and Sunday the public enjoyed up to nine races with the exhibition of 10 vehicles in each of them.

In the heat of so much sporting dynamism the virtual reality it conquered the attention of the visitors. The race driving simulators, with different levels and on various sports disciplines, were the perfect tool to reproduce the sensations and experiences of professional driving.

Talks and colloquia

On the stage of Auto Racing there was a lot of talk about competition. The Spanish Association of Pilots reminded Santiago Martin Cantero, driver and coach, a legend of the sport of the four wheels passed away a few weeks ago. For its part, the Federation sponsored interesting talks focused on woman and motor, with the pilots Sara Fernández and Angélica Camacho and the sports psychologist Eva Molleja; the Rally Team Spain and CEK Academy karting programs; and the CERA with the pilots Miguel Fuster, Alberto Monarri, Dani Marbán, Chema Reyes and Borja Rozada.
