The british house Historics at Brookland will put up for auction next November 30 a very special Austin Taxi 12/4.

The Austin Taxi 12/4 was the mainstay of the British capital's taxi fleet during the 1930s, soon becoming a big seller above its rivals Beardmore and Morris Commercial.

The original body colors were blue and black, although the cab blakes It was redecorated in the dark green hallmark of the establishment where it served. Other minor changes with respect to the series taxis of the time are the replacement of the bright "Taxi" by "Blakes" and the conversion of the magnets.
