Created by engineer Massimo Tamburini, the VM F4 It is the resurrection of the legendary Italian brand and is one of those series superbikes with hemispherical combustion chambers. Its inline four-cylinder is derived from the 1 Ferrari F-1990 engine. Two years after its launch in 2002 MV created a limited series of 50 conversion kits that would give rise to the F4 SP01 (Special Parts 01), distinguishable by its color. blue and silver and its magnesium wheels. Name Bimota is an acronym for the surnames of its founders (Bianchi, Morri and Tamburni), and its philosophy is quite particular: it manufactures short series of motorcycles with almost always Japanese engines - also Ducati, Gilera and Harley - and sophisticated chassis of their own design whose behavior dynamic is outstanding. This auction features two Bimota, a fully original 5 SB1985 with a known history (one of 158 produced, featured in Giorgio Sarti's book on the brand) and a DB5R Robbiano, the work of the late designer Sergio Robbiano, of which only 30 units have been built, practically new with just 800 km on the marker.
The Moko POWA D10 is one of the most innovative and avant-garde concept bikes of the 80s, not in vain the prestigious journalist Alan Cathcart includes it in his book Dream Bikes. It was conceived by the Swiss Hans Walter on the basis of a Yamaha FZ 750 with the aim of reducing consumption, improving performance and reducing noise. Presented at the 1988 Zurich Motorcycle Show, it could reach a top speed of 301 km / h with the same 110 hp as standard. Only 6 units survive of the 10 built by Moko. Registered in France in 2000, this specimen was restored in 2015 and currently only counts 3.500 km.
