Thanks to a new book the mythical Steve McQueen it's news again. And it is that, apart from being present in the collective memory of fans of the motor world for his performance at Le Mans, it now reaches bookstores Unseen McQueen, a compilation of photographs that shows us the actor behind the scenes.
The images were taken between 1960-1968 and have remained completely unpublished to date. Its author is the award-winning and recently deceased photographer Barry Feinstein, who was a close friend of McQueen and with whom he shared a similar approach to life and a passion for fast cars and motorcycles.
McQueen was captured by Feistein's aim on the track, on the set of his iconic film Bullitt and also relaxing in his spare time. The friendship that unites them seems to be palpable at every moment, as it captured moments of great intimacy rarely experienced by other people less close to the famous star.
