Last Saturday, May 10, the «I Classical Concentration of Venturada». We went to her with the intention of seeing what was cooked in this beautiful mountain town.
Before arriving, a member of the organization warned us at the exit of the NI about the presence of the meritorious, and not precisely to help in the event but to make their August at the expense of the classic drivers who, due to ignorance, skipped the Obligation to perform a racket to turn towards Venturada.
The fact is that as we passed by, they had an amateur stopped with a Porsche 924 ... And they were preparing to stop another who was behind us. These behaviors are the ones to criticize, since the agents would have been extremely useful and could have avoided any dangerous situation if instead of collecting they had helped regulate the aforementioned incorporation.
Despite the above, the day was an incredible success. Upon arrival, everything perfectly organized; and this time yes, the local police helping and organizing the traffic.
With a limited capacity of about 200 cars, which was covered months before the meeting, some fans who attended their classic on their own had to park outside the concentration area. And it is that to participate you had to register for free in advance.
Once inside, lots of familiar faces, friends and family, that's a joy!
Diversity
As we agreed, the organization I placed you in the place intended for your vehicle, these being defined by brands or by type of car, except for the central esplanade that had a carpeted area to display the most spectacular units. There you could see from a Ford A to a Porsche RSR, passing through Ferraris, Mercedes SL, etc ...
Right behind these was another row exclusively for Porsche, with more than 10 different units ranging from a 993 to a 944 cabrio, through 964 or 911 Sc, among others. Behind, two more rows where about thirty classics were exhibited, with more or less spectacular vehicles and in different degrees and states of originality.
The surrounding streets were home to an excellent concentration of Aircooled -cooled by air-, another of Seat 600, motorcycles from different eras, Land Rover and military, 124, the Renault 8 and 10, a couple of Alpine A-110 units ...
Clearly a very heterogeneous group, in an unbeatable environment. The icing on the cake was the fantastic barbecue to which the organization invited all participants. Without a doubt, this has to make a difference with similar events in the downtown area.
We know that the music and the sarao continued until late on Saturday afternoon, although we retired at 14:00 p.m.
Congratulations once again to the organization, especially Alberto Perez, visible head of the event. With people so involved it is a real pleasure to share a day of classics.
