New book on the history of SEAT by Miguel Ángel Águila

Miguel Ángel Águila, author of the books "Lancia Coupé and HPE: The forgotten ones of SEAT" y "SEAT 1979" presents his latest work: "SEAT 1980". The second volume of his series dedicated to the contemporary history of SEAT, where the events that led to the split between FIAT and SEAT are recounted and analyzes the main models of that year 1980, such as the Ritmo Diesel, the 131 SOFIM and in particular the revolutionary Panda.

This new work shows in all its harshness the circumstances that forced FIAT to renounce participating in the SEAT capital increase, breaching the contract signed with the INI in June 1979, leaving SEAT on the brink of death.

"BET 1980 ″ consists of 12 chapters and an extension of 265 pages, in addition to being illustrated with abundant photographs.
