TEXT: RETROMÓVIL MADRID
Retromobile Madrid it's like who says just around the corner. Between November 29 and December 1 we will deploy our 'arsenal'in Hall 3 of IFEMA with more than 150 stands and more than 300 machines on display plus the classic car park. Here are some more details that are worth highlighting.
Just one week before the celebration of the show, we would like to continue making you part of what we are preparing. To begin with, we anticipate that in the elegance contest we will have several exceptional pieces. This is the case of, among others, a unique Salvador cyclecar from 1914, a Henderson Four from 1915 or a replica Aston-Martin DB4 GT Zagato with original base.
Regarding the Savior, it is about a perfected David who works like the first day. If you remember, David was one of the most important brands before the Civil War, of which there are hardly any units left today (they are counted on the fingers of one hand). Therefore, it is pure motor archeology.
The Henderson it is simply a work of art. Powered by a one-liter inline 4-cylinder mechanic, it was the fattest and fastest that could be driven at the time. From the same mold as the Indian or the Harley, the Hendersons had a touch of eccentricity that made them unmistakable.
Finally, the DB4 GT Zagato is a legend of the Gaydon brand. Only 25 copies were made between 1960 and 1963, but later replicas tremendously faithful to the original have been manufactured. This is the case of our imposing guest, logically executed on the basis of an original DB4.

AUCTION IN CATAWIKI
On the other hand, I think we have not yet told you about the online auction that we will carry out thanks to Catawiki. Since it seems that lately it is fashionable, in your space you will find for sale one of the colossal Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood ex- Francisco Franco. Very expensive in its time, equipped with Hidramatic gearbox and a 8 hp V325 made in America, it was used for the general's trips throughout the country.
In addition, the Dutch house will do the same with one of the delicious Messerschmitt microcars, originally registered in Spain. And, do you know what the manufacturer of the renowned Nazi fighters did when they were forbidden to continue producing airplanes during the post-war period? Apply all his knowledge in aeronautics to provide the battered German people with a mobility alternative. It is tremendously original, you just have to see that cockpit.
Finally, Catawiki will auction two classics that undoubtedly must have discovered the way to travel in time: On the one hand, an Innocenti Mini with only 36 kilometers on the scoreboard; and, on the other, a Mexican Beetle with just 8.000. Therefore, originality in abundance, the result of an exceptional state of conservation.
NEW PARKING FOR CLASSICS
So far some more news of what you will see inside the room from next day 29. But, what about outside? Abroad we have moved the classic car park so that access is easier and is in the foreground of the enclosure. Therefore, if you bring an old vehicle, you can park with hundreds of others for free.
There are up to 1,500 places prepared, so you do not have to worry about registering beforehand. Of course, note that the Technical Sheet of your classic shows a date before 1989 or, unfortunately, we will not be able to allow you access. It has nothing to do with the undeniable historical value of the youngtimer, it is simply a matter of space.
Without further ado, we will continue to report. Stay tuned! And thank you very much for your attention!
