Eventos del Motor, SL, a company with more than twenty years of experience in the organization of commercial monographs linked to the automotive world and organizer of other classic vehicle competitions in Spain and Portugal, such as RetroBilbao or AutoClássico Porto, will once again be in charge of take place from October 17 to 19, 2014 Retro Valencia, II Classic and Vintage Vehicle Show.
The place chosen for the development of this show has been the Feria de Valencia. Activity It will occupy an area of 11.000 square meters and will host more than a hundred exhibitors with several differentiated areas: commercial exhibition of classic vehicles and motorcycles, market area with accessories, parts, spare parts and accessories; and a space reserved for clubs.
In the world of two wheels there will be a space dedicated to the Vespa, that motorcycle icon that today has millions of followers all over the planet. Hand in hand with the company Your Classic, specialists in the restoration of this scooter, will be shown around fifteen units, some of them unique pieces.
Events
Already in the world of four wheels, the Ferrari Testarosa celebrates its 2014th anniversary this 30, and Retro Valencia did not want to miss the opportunity to celebrate it. Several units of this mythical driving feel Italians will be present at the Valencia fair where there will be a brief review of the history of the model that owes its name to the red color of its cylinder heads.
They are also celebrating at Porsche, as one of their most special cars, the 911 Turbo, turns 40. At the stand that the newly created 911 Valencia club will have at the fair, will showcase all turbo models that have been manufactured to date, from the very first 930 to the current 991, passing through the 964, 993, 996 and 997. A good opportunity to see up close the evolution that this legendary sports car has had.
At the competition level, and once again thanks to the collaboration of the Valencian Automobile Federation and different drivers and fans, the II Retro Valencia will have a pavilion attached to the fair and communicated with it where fans who come with their clasic @ will be able to park for free, in addition to benefiting from a significant discount on the ticket price. This year, the “parking” pavilion will be decorated with a 16.000-watt sound system with period music, dynamic activities, bars to have a beer, etc.
On the other hand, the ITV service that in the last edition was inside this pavilion will now go abroad, thus being much more comfortable for fans.
A trade show
Retro Valencia will not only be a room for the use and enjoyment of fans, but it will also serve as a commercial showcase for both companies in the sector and individuals. Both will market their vehicles and products in an area designated for this purpose. This measure is intended to encourage the commercial area and the exchange of vehicles. More than a hundred exhibitors, both national and international, will exhibit their products at the event, and the range of cars and motorcycles offered will cover all budgets and categories.
Both motorcycle and car clubs will also be protagonists in Retro Valencia, since they will have their own space in the exhibition, along with the possibility of carrying out activities for free.
Around 15 clubs will attend with their respective stands: The Valencia Antique Automobile Club, the Valencia Historic Vehicle Club, the Classic Motor Club de L´Horta, 911 Valencia, the Alpine Club, etc., will be, together with the clubs brands such as Porsche, Seat, Volkswagen or Renault, some of them. Lovers of two wheels will also find their place in the stand that the Vespa club will have prepared for the show.
The visiting hours of the fair will be Friday, October 17 from 16 to 21 p.m., Saturday 18 from 10 a.m. to 21 p.m., and Sunday 19 from 10 a.m. to 15 p.m. The price of the general admission will be 8 euros, although children up to 10 years of age will not have to pay. Those who travel to the Valencian fairgrounds in their vintage cars and motorcycles will have a free parking space and discounts of 50% on the ticket price. Other special discounts will be applied to those who travel to the show via Renfe, Ave and Iberia.
