[dropcap] H [/ dropcap] Here's a curious transformation, or maybe not so much: Citroën He has a storied reputation for cutting edge technology that could well have earned him time travel, if only in a movie. We speak as not of the cinematographic saga Return to the future, which, as you know, consecrated the hitherto forgotten DeLorean DMC-12.
The DeLorean had a chassis derived from the Lotus Esprit and a stainless steel body; for his part, the Citroen BX It had a groundbreaking design and, of course, with the hydraulic suspension of the daring Gallic house… So why not? It may not have the presence of the DMC-12 but the truth is that it does not lack aptitude to carry the usual flux capacitor.
A Citroën BX for the party
Anyway, it seems that this BX was modified for the carnival of Granville, in France, and it is now on sale for a modest 300 euros. It is from 1986, diesel, manual and with 281.000 kilometers that cannot be increased, since the car is not homologated. Textually, this replica works well, rolls well, brakes well… and is the result of many hours of work - adapting vertically opening doors is not easy!
