The Frederique Constant Contest of Elegance will offer us a lot of history, which on this occasion will be dedicated to convertible cars prior to 1940. Around fifteen vehicles will participate in this contest created to promote the active participation of fans and collectors and to awaken interest in this segment of the engine among the general public. Among the participating vehicles we will be able to see a unit manufactured in 1909, so the exhibition of the contestants will offer us a peculiar journey through time of more than a century.

Motorcycles will also have their moment for the award since the ClassicAuto organization convenes this year the first Motorcycle Restoration Contest, this time focused on Spanish-made frames from the 50s. Four Alpina BMWs will shine on the red carpet, offering a lot of power and perfection, attesting to the close collaboration developed between the preparer and manufacturer Alpina and the giant BMW.

Porsche also attends this appointment of the classic motor in order to review its fruitful trajectory. Three mythical models of the Stuttgart brand will be the protagonists: The 30th anniversary of the Porsche 959 will be celebrated, we will see a 964 restored by the Madrid North Porsche Center and we will be able to make a comparison "in situ" between a 911 Targa Classic and a current Targa.

In search of independence

Possibly 40 years ago there was no talk of R + D + I with the daily routine that is used today, but then Seat started up its Martorell Technical Center, a unique space in Spain created for the comprehensive development of a car project, of a new vehicle. The brand commemorates this anniversary with a monographic exhibition of prototypes that will allow us to know the evolution of this center. Will be in ClassicAuto the Seat 1200 Sport Bocanegra, first model developed and alongside it other contemporary models of these facilities.

The hall hosts an exhibition of dream motorcycles, either because they had a movie life, because they were technically impossible, or because they moved through unthinkable terrain ... The collection that can be seen is made up of units made to dream: Metisse Desert Racer, Honda Turbo, Montesa Impala Trial, etc.

And within the automotive world we cannot fail to admire a spectacular Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato (Series 2 from 1962), in whose restoration process more than 3000 hours have been invested. Lancia manufactured the Flaminia between 1957 and 1970 and of the model that will be exhibited in Madrid it is estimated that there will be only about 50 units worldwide.
