Upcoming Citroën CX exhibition at MHAS

The 26 31 April to May a temporary exhibition on Citroën CX will take place at the Salamanca Automotive History Museum. It is a joint initiative carried out between the Club CX Spain and the museum institution on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the French model.

In principle, it seems that a selection of eight units is being made, which we hope will be representative of the more than fifteen years of life of what is said to be the last authentic Citroën before the absorption of the brand by PSA Peugeot.

In any case, at the presentation of the exhibition you will be able to see some more specimens thanks to the support rally that will be held during the morning. In fact, the starting shot of the exhibition will begin at 12:00 on April 26, and will also include the participation of prominent personalities of Spanish motorsport.

Specifically, Don Arturo Andrés Urrutia, a journalist at MotorPress Ibérica from 1969 to the present, will attend the event, recognized for his tests of national cars. He will relate his memories of the model, touching on the themes of its presentation in Lapland, the units produced in the Vigo factory or the imported copies, among others.

There will also be Don Ramón Roca Maseda, patron of the RACE Historical Foundation and author of several books on the History of the automobile in Spain, who will place the Citroën CX in its context within national and international productions, as well as relate its evolution and the experiences that he lived at the controls of two units that he had the opportunity to drive in his time.
