Javier Navarro Fortuno, An agricultural technical engineer, he had been looking for a book for years that, in an encyclopedic way, would collect the vast majority of classic cars made in Spain between the 1950s and 1990s. After getting tired of waiting, in 2014 he decided to grab the bull by the horns and write it himself same.
Just a month ago the result of his work was published, entitled 'Our classic cars in pictures (1950-1990)'. It is a volume-thesaurus that reviews the history of the main brands and models made in Spain in convenient tabs.
Sorted alphabetically, Each of these files contains the period of manufacture of the car, its units produced, engines, versions, approximate price and a series of descriptive images that make it really easy to obtain the basic information of a certain model.
Javier Navarro's book thus joins the list of classic reference works such as those written by Joaquín Ciuró or Pablo Gimeno in the 60s and 90s, respectively, and which also cover the prewar genre.
