Description of the Lancia Flaminia GT Touring for sale
This Lancia Flaminia GT 2.8 Touring 1963 with a 6-cylinder V front engine was registered in 1968 after a long time in the showroom of the Lancia de Catanzaro dealership.
Designed by the prestigious Milanese bodywork company Touring Superleggera, it is made of aluminum with a tubular chassis and is an icon among the elegant custom-made GTs of the time.
The current owner has done a full restoration that was completed in 2011 and was done by the Touring Superleggera itself. The restoration documented by a photographic book is supported by a certification and invoices of the intervention. Since 2011 the car has been kept in excellent condition and has traveled approximately 2000 km.
The completely renovated interior is wonderful, with an all-new rubber floor covering, as well as leather and skink upholstery, just as it was originally.
It also has the center carpet of the center console and the rear seat, with little signs of wear considering that it is more than 50 years old, but still in a wonderful condition. It also has the floor carpet, which is not in perfect condition, but it is not original to the GT, although it was usually placed for greater comfort (also acoustic).
The original linings on the sides of the interior of the boot and its rubber mat are in place (!).
The old AM radio works, but it is not connected to the speaker as it was not installed. All the instruments work, as well as the electromechanical clock. The switch for the high-low beam has to be checked. The horn is not original.
The Lancia Flaminia Touring includes a new and unused set of tires, workshop manual and owner's manual.
