Momir Bojic, a 71-year-old Bosnian pensioner, came up with the particular idea of covering the body and interior of his Volkswagen Beetle with wood. And in 2005 he got down to work.
To materialize this "crazy" idea, Bojic needed more than 50.000 small pieces of oak and two years of his life devoted fully to the titanic project. From the steering wheel to the dashboard they are covered, at first glance anyone would think that it is a completely wooden body. In addition, he has kept the optical groups uncovered to be able to circulate around the country and draw attention wherever he goes.
It is curious in what kinds of activities a retiree can invest his time. Oh, and don't forget to tell you that our friend has also made a cap in tune with the car, as if that weren't enough.
Although the wood is lightweight, we can't help but wonder how much this version will weigh Woodie of the Beetle. Anyway, there is nothing written about tastes, so we leave you the images to draw your own conclusions. Of course, it is still original.
