A little over a year ago Jaguar-Land Rover Opened a division specialized in classics and in the recreation of its most memorable models. Currently, it has opened this Center for Work, Sale and Restoration in the historic home of the feline: Coventry, in England.
With its almost Sqm 14.000 in size and 54 operational mechanics modules with more than 80 employees (120 at the end of the year), we can consider it as one of the largest centers of this type. It also houses a collection of approximately 500 classics, reaffirming the importance of historic vehicles to Jaguar-Land Rover.
Series I Land Rovers, Range Rovers classics, Jaguar E-Type and Jaguar XK… all repaired and restored under one roof. And without the worry of having to look for the right spare parts (often a difficult mission); All the necessary original and homologated parts are at this Coventry facility, as easy as that.
As if that were not enough, a repair and overhaul methodology very comprehensive based on 121 inspection points that has been designed by the pilot Andy wallace, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the back of his Jaguar in 1988. And, of course, it will be possible to buy the finished cars.
In a short time, tourist visits to the new complex will be allowed, which already has a museum-section dedicated to the units kept there. For a price close to 60€ we can take a tour through the history of Jaguar Land Rover; a price not too popular but at the height of the quality that is expected. For more money, it will even be possible to rent one of the cars to drive around the region.
