Ivan Vicario Martin, who was director of the magazine Classic Cars until last December, it becomes new director of THE SQUARE, the reference website for collector cars in Spain. With this signing, THE TEAM reinforces its editorial team in the year in which it celebrates its tenth anniversary.
Graduated in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid, Iván Vicario Martín has been dedicated to motor journalism since 2004, the year in which he joined the Grupo V publishing house. There he participated in the birth of the magazine Classic Cars, assuming the direction of Top tuning in 2006.
After returning to Classic Cars in 2009, Ivan he went on to run the magazine in 2012, after the death of the long-awaited Julio de Santiago, a position in which he has remained until the disappearance of the head in 2022. In that 2012, the front of Popular Classics.
Since 2010, Iván has directed the engine specials of Group V, dedicated to Ferrari, MINI, MotoGP, SEAT, Porsche or Mustang, in addition to commanding the digital leap of the editorial in 2016. THE TEAM
Born as a digital magazine in Spanish in 2013, LA ESCUDERÍA has become the Reference website for information on classic cars in Spain. All thanks to a team led by Javier Romagosa, editor of the page.
The seed was the web set up by Sergio Romagosa, no less than in April 1996, with an original version of THE TEAM that became the first Hispanic portal dedicated to lovers of historic vehicles. At that time, when there were barely a few hundred websites, it was already at the forefront of the Internet in our country. Sergio Romagosa was a pioneer in the insurance for classics in Spain.
With the signing of Iván Vicario Martín, THE TEAM only redoubles its commitment to information in Spanish about classic cars. A sector with exponential growth potential.
