In cars with more than 25 years, the survivors arrived at the Plaza de España in Seville, an adventure in which there has been no lack of rain, mud, dust and above all camaraderie.
Spain Classic Raid in its second edition it has featured sports cars such as the porsche 944, Audi Coupe Quattro or BMW 325 IX and with the most popular utility vehicles such as Renault 4, Renault 5, Renault 6 or Seat Panda; all have had to avoid mud, stones, dust and what they have been finding to be able to cross Spain on dirt roads from Barcelona to Seville, passing through the deserts of Monegros and Almería, the Castilian steppe and several national and natural parks, all with cars with more than 25 years behind their backs.
Old and international participants
Notable for their antiquity is a Volvo P1800 and a Peugeot 204, both from 1966, a Volkswagen Kubel from 1975, a Renault 12 from 1973, a 2CV or a DAF 55 driven by a Dutch team residing in Villanueva del Trabuco.
With Dutch, Italian, Swiss, Romanian and Spanish participants from almost all communities, this second edition It has been a success, both for participation and for fun since the car owners have had to battle every day against mud, fog and endless obstacles that, with the help of the rest of the participants, they managed to overcome mostly to finish the test in the beautiful Plaza de España in Seville.
Spain Classic Raid: Tourism, companionship and adventure
The second edition of Spain Classic Raid It has had some of the most beautiful places in Spain as the end of the stage; Let's not forget that tourism and culture are some of its attractions, in addition to the spirit of companionship and adventure. The start was held in the Olympic Port of Barcelona and the finish line of the first day in the Seu Vella de Lérida. The second day ended at Expo 2008 in Zaragoza within the El Pilar 2016 festival program, the third day Guadalajara and the fourth, half test, in the Las Ventas bullring in the capital.
