Jerez Historical Festival

This weekend the Masters Historic Series, International races that have the historic Formula 1 world championship as their main course. Managed by the Cadiz circuit itself and by those responsible for Spirit of Montjuïc, they will once again bring to our country the competition of vintage vehicles at the highest level.

Taking advantage of the environment, the II Historical Festival of Jerez, which will include concentrations of classics in the paddock, live music or a commercial area - we assume a fair - with stands selling items of all kinds, among other activities.

The races will include not only those corresponding to the historic Formula 1 championship, for premier class cars from 1961 to 1983, but also others for previous F1's, Formula Junior between 1958 and 1963, Le Mans type cars until 1974, GT's of the years sixty in endurance tests, touring cars from the same decade or CanAm. Concentration in the paddock

Apparently, the concentration of old vehicles in the paddock will be interclubes, and will leave for the circuit from Jerez after making a stop through the streets of the city. Once you have reached your destination, an elegance contest will be held in which participation is not mandatory and in which, when scoring, the state of preservation of the old participating vehicles, their exclusivity and clothing will be taken into account. period worn by their owners.

The price to pay to be part of the entourage is 20 euros per person -except for those under 12 years of age, free of charge-, and gives the right to have a reserved tribune with access to refreshments and to be able to parade through the route at the established hours for it.
