Iberian Classic Raid, with anti-Covid measures
Due to these protocols it has not been possible to make stops in some towns where it was planned. Special mention deserves the Zaragoza municipality of Alborge, where the participants made a "Pit-stop" without getting out of the car to receive a selection of products from the area and an injection of energy as they crossed the streets to applause and shouts of encouragement.
Burgo de Osma, Mollerussa or Plasencia have been other cities that have actively collaborated with the raid, which has made stage goals in Lérida, Zaragoza, Madrid or Covilha and which had its departure at the Olympic Port of Barcelona.
Like the landscapes and the types of roads, the weather has been very varied, with the first part marked by high temperatures and dry terrain. With the arrival of the squall Barbara, from El Burgo de Osma the situation was very different and the mud added an extra point of difficulty when maintaining the average speed set by the organization in the controlled sections.
