After his historic victory at 6 o'clock in Barcelona in 1968, the Ford GT40 # 1019 # full Montjuich team go back to the podium at the Alan Mann Trophy piloted by Folch–Hadfield in the framework of the 74 Members Meeting of Goodwood.

In a close and tough 1h-long race with a participation of 30 GT40 Piloted by a cast of figures from the BTCC, WTCC, LM Series and Indy Series such as Huff, Sopper, Stippler, Brack and many others, Folch-Hadfield managed to climb positions until they reached the podium bronze.

Joaquín Folch-Rusiñol Corachán tells us when getting out of the car:

On the last lap, I was just thinking about how happy Paco (Godia) must be when he saw the car cross the finish line from wherever he was looking at us.

Been an honor and a privilege For Simon and for me this emotional result, and that is why we dedicate it to him and Brian Muir, extending it to all those members of the Montjuich Team who contributed to the success. It is a pride to see that our admired historic team is still alive after so many years of sporting results. We only add one more grain of sand to that glorious list. [/ su_quote]

What do you think?
