Description of the Lot
Designed to fill the gap created in the market segment between the small Fiat 600 and the 1100 sedan, the Fiat 850 received excellent public feedback and this was a considerable commercial success. Available in 4 official models directly produced by Fiat, several special versions were also produced.
They were spacious, functional or limited-series commercial vehicles, pickup trucks, sports Abarths fitted with bodywork built by masters of design. They were all genuine "fuoriserie." A true Italian manifesto during the economic boom, in search of emancipation and individual empowerment.
Version 850 Special Vignale Presented here, with a Vignale bodywork, it was produced in around one hundred units and features an elegant contour and a slim, smooth body - typical characteristics of the Torino bodybuilder. The car has had only one owner and has never been restored. Despite some obvious paint defects (mostly still original), the car is in good condition, rust-free and with a nice patina that enhances its appeal.
The interior is fine and characterized by an excellent build quality, far superior to the "standard" version. Overall, the car is very original and complete, solid and mechanically tuned. All interventions necessary for regular operation on the road will be carried out before delivery. The car comes with a valid revision and full pre-delivery service.
All carefully preserved former owner's manuals complete the vehicle and increase the collector's value. This car can be viewed and picked up in Italy.
