Feva donates the money raised in the Heritage Days

Last Thursday, December 5, the Spanish Federation of Antique Vehicles made the official donation of the money raised through the Automotive Heritage Days 2013 to Cáritas Española.

The event took place at Auto Retro Barcelona and was attended by Josep Mª Companys, president of FEVA and Fermí Sulé, organizer of the Show that this year celebrated its 30th edition and of which we will shortly offer you the corresponding chronicle.

Salvador Claret, head of the FEVA Culture Committee, made a very positive assessment of this seventh edition of the Conference and was in charge of delivering the check to Pedro Barquero, head of Social Implementation of Cáritas Española.

Given the difficult social and economic situation of many Spanish families, FEVA reached an agreement with said charity and launched its 2013 Conference under the slogan "Solidarity Heritage Days", which were held, as every year, during the month of September.

Through the sale of commemorative plaques - at a symbolic price of € 1 - and the financial contributions made by the different affiliated clubs, a total of € 2.765 has been raised.

Next year, if these days are organized in advance, double or triple that amount could be raised.
