Extended: "24 hours Montjuïc motorcyclists"

One year after its inauguration el Barcelona Motorcycle Museum has decided to extend its temporary exhibition until September 8 "24 hours motorcyclists of Montjuïc". Good news for all the fans of the world of two wheels who have wanted but have not yet been able to attend to contemplate more than 20 representative motorcycles of the grills of the legendary Barcelona race held between 1956 and 1986 on the Montjuïc urban circuit, the Magic Mountain.

This sample has several winning units, such as the Montesa Impala 250 with which the Sirera brothers achieved victory in 1963, the Bultaco 360 from Cañellas-Rocamora from 1969, the Honda from Leon Chemarin from 1978 or the Ducati from Mallol-Tejedo from 1980. The reproduction of a box, trophies and a multitude of objects related to the event, as well as a collection of original posters of all the editions provided by the Peña Motorista Barcelona, also deserve special attention.

The Barcelona Motorcycle Museum, like the Basella, is part of those sponsored by the "Mario Soler" Motorcycle Museum Foundation. Its 600 m2 facilities, in which in this case an attempt is made to offer a perspective of the intense Catalan motorcycling history, are located in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. The price of the general admission is 6 euros, although there is a reduced modality for young people, students, pensioners and the disabled and discounts based on belonging to specific organizations, such as Action Team or Mutua Motera. Admission for children under 8 is free.

The truth is that with this pack hard to resist.

Under the title "Unique and singular" It will show prototypes that were never made, models of little-known specialties, unique examples in the world ...
