A few months ago the director of the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, Andoni Aldekoa, offered the possibility of holding an event aimed not only at motor racing fans but also at the general public and, in particular, at family members as it takes place throughout the Christmas holidays. Thus, the Rolls-Royce exhibition that we bring to these pages today has been conceived and carried out between December 15 and January 7.

The most representative cars of the city have been exhibited here. Collection Miguel de la Vía de Torre Loizaga, one of the most important in the world, to compose a linear portrait that covers all the decades of automotive history and its influence, both in society and in the culture of each moment. The story unfolds over ten scenarios set with the aesthetics of the time and with scenographic elements accompanied by theatrical lighting; All of this will tell us about design, technique, style and history. As a whole, the exhibition has been an attractive experience that has made us relive eras and styles up to the present day.

A good time to talk about cars

As part of the spectacular selection of Rolls-Royce automobiles belonging to the collection Miguel de la Vía - Torre Loizaga shown in Hall II of the Euskalduna Palace, four open access conferences have been scheduled on the history and world of motorsport.

On Friday, December 29, Miguel Martín, passionate about automobiles and author of the book, spoke 'The automobile in Bizkaia'; Asier Zubizarreta, professor at the Bilbao School of Engineering and academic head of Formula Student Bizkaia; Javier Corral, professor at the Bilbao School of Engineering and academic head of Formula Student Bizkaia; and Asier Beascoechea, from the Bilbao School of Engineering and Team Leader from Formula Student Bizkaia.
