Decorate your home with automotive furniture

Nowadays you change your house every 10 years, your car every 5 and your mobile phone every 1… If it comes! We live in a world in which the supply of products and services is happening at a dizzying pace and the idea that nature is limited. You always want to have the latest, the most innovative.

Although the scheduled obsolescence insists on affirming the contrary, the objects that we discard are still useful in most cases, if not in their original form, once transformed into something else. The point is that they do not go unnecessarily to the landfill, where they will contaminate the soil.

Furniture and car parts?

Environmentalists insist that we follow the philosophy of Three Erres, namely Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, and from our point of view they are right. Actually most of us hobbyists do it by preserving our classics and showing how beautiful they are to the rest of the community.

But, as we will see now, we can also transform spare parts into beautiful vintage furniture that make our house a unique place. We just have to count on artisans capable of making our wishes come true ...

Here are three of them based in Spain.

Bel & Bel, artists

Bel & Bel is a Barcelona studio-workshop founded in 2005 by Jesús Bel and Carles Bel, both graduates in Fine Arts. Its facilities are located in a XNUMXth century farmhouse in Viladecans and are defined as an artisan brand associated with a style of "Supra-recycling" of high standing.

From what we have been able to see his work focuses on Seat and Vespa, with pieces of which they have managed to give life to really interesting furniture. We present four of them, a refrigerator, a chair and two sofas in which the artistic conception of their work can be seen with total clarity. For more information, click here.

Fernando Guerra Design

This Sevillian mechanic cannot suppress his creativity and proof of this is that once his work is finished he dedicates his free time manufacture of unique furniture. Fundamentally, it designs on BMW mechanics, as is the case with the tables and lamps that we show you below.

We would buy all their products but, above all, the impressive salon table on M50 engines from the Bavarian brand. If you want more information, click here.

Carlos Puentes, our craftsman

We have been working with Carlos for years, who is an accomplished car restorer. Authentic metal tamer, It has always had a strong artistic vocation that lately turns into pieces as beautiful as this lamp made from a Morgan ThreeWheeler crankshaft and vintage Lucas headlights.

Like the rest of the artisans that we highlight in this short article, Carlos is open to create or execute your orders. You just have to get in touch with him ...

Through us, that we are your agents! 😉

Ideas for your automotive furniture

You see, not everything has to be to go to Ikea and buy the same furniture as everyone else ... You can also unleash your imagination and combine hobby and ecology to give an alternative life - or a second life if they no longer work - to your spare parts. You just have to find the right people, like the three we offer you here.
