Classical concentration of Pozuelo, partying

[dropcap] E [/ dropcap] On Saturday we attended the call Vehicle Concentration «Classic, Sporty and Mythical» from Pozuelo de Alarcón. Having reserved a place in advance - a lot of fuss was expected - we got ready to go out in our beloved press car, at the time a Jeep Viasa CJ3-B, to find out I was out of battery ... Or maybe it was the contact? Who knows, classics stuff.

Once the problem was solved, we walked the short distance that separated us from the Madrid municipality with a certain delay and, upon reaching the shopping center "El Torreón", where the registration of participants and delivery of numbers was scheduled, we were immersed in one of those funny pictures that our fans provide:

An avenue literally collapsed with old machines, accompanied by some latest-batch sports cars of those that do not hit too much but that you always like to see. Engine noise, smell of smoke and oil ... But where were they going? We were too late, at least to register as good customs dictate.

I have the feeling that the gearbox of the Jeep he wasn't in his prime, either, how hard it was to change gears! Hopefully it's just the clutch ... Anyway, still enjoying the meeting we headed for Padre Vallet square, which is something like the Plaza Mayor de Pozuelo, where the cars were received with great expectation not without certain sovereign. And it is that they were the town festivals and the center was quite crowded.

Jeep Press could not enter and we had to settle for taking a photo "From the sidelines." It seems that the thing was animated, and then there was barbecue for a really modest price; but we could not stay, family commitments awaited us and we started our way back. Let's see if things turn out better next time!
