Last Saturday, May 7, the 3rd edition of the concentration took place Classics Venturada. Organized by the club with the same name in the town of Venturada in the Sierra de Madrid, it could be said that it was a resounding success.
And that despite the threatening weather that hung over the participants throughout the day. Fortunately he endured, and did not prevent them from meeting at this annual meeting around 350 or 400 classics ordered mostly by their country of origin.
In effect, the organization had arranged different spaces according to the make and type of assisting vehicles. Thus, in the central esplanade you could enjoy the selection of the most special cars, from veterans, from the English, from the Americans, from the Japanese, and from BMWs, Mercedes and Porsche.
The classics were arriving, without fear of the rain

At around 12 in the morning the atmosphere was really lively
Sea of classics: Some 350-400 classics of all ages came to Venturada
Man does not live only on sports cars: Here is a Ford A, a Mercedes 220S, a Fiat Balilla and a Chevrolet FleetMaster
The English were in the background to the left with a good selection of Jaguars, as is the case with the MKII or XJS
The BMW row hosted a selection of machines known as youngtimers
Mercedes line, where the models of the 80s were legion
Mercedes E 2.3 16V, much desired today
In the American zone there was variety
A group of fans inspects this Ford Mustang, at the end of the American space
The Japanese occupied the back of the esplanade, along with the Americans. Here we have a Toyota Celica and a Nissan 300 ZX
The Land Rovers came through the field and stayed there for a time. Nothing more appropriate
Ford Consul, with its characteristic rear window in Z. Interestingly, it already arrived muddy (and thanks to the rest of the decoration it fit very well, it looked like something out of a rally)
A central esplanade packed with M3
Precisely in this central esplanade was the main attraction of the meeting, a selection of 8 BMW M3 E30 that commemorated the 30th anniversary of the model. Among them was a Evo 1 special whose video we published just a week ago, although all the units were very interesting. Next to him an older brother, a BMW M6 E24, looked impeccable.
As we have said, the most special classics of the meeting were parked on the central carpet of the esplanade, among which it was difficult to keep one or more in particular. However, the one who subscribes these lines would choose the Mercedes 220S coupe brother to the Ponton saloons, which was a delight to see; or the Alpine A-310, Saab Sonnet III, Alfa-Romeo Giulia GTV replica GTA or Chevrolet Fleetmaster, all of them pieces worth seeing.
With a view to celebrating its 30th anniversary, they met at Venturada 8 BMW M3 E30

The motorcycles were in the main square of Venturada
The bikers were brave, because the weather wasn't there for many joys. The BMWs were not lacking
The dirt bike show was really good. There is no more to see this OSSA Enduro or the Bultaco Frontera that is next to it
Trial triumph from the early days
Against all odds: Veterans and motorcycles
Against all odds the veterans came to the appointment and we were able to admire a Packard Six convertible, an impressive Hispano-Suiza H6B or an irresistible Donet Zedel van, among others. The same could be said of the motorcycles, which parked in the Plaza Mayor of Venturada made up a good selection of BMW's and, above all, of field bikes. Among the latter there were units that were really difficult to see in our country, as was the case with a Triumph and a trial Suzuki from the late 60s.
And it is that apart from its multitudinous character, which makes the concentration of Classics Venturada is the transformation of the streets and small squares of the municipality into a rolling museum; Popular brands such as Seat, Renault, Citroën or Ford, among others, have their place in the streets surrounding the central esplanade.
In Venturada the streets become a car museum for a day. It gives the feeling of having traveled in time
As can be seen, the popular classics awaken a hobby that is difficult to match.
The Seat 132 always cause expectation
Talbot Horizon, Peugeot 205 GTi and Seat 132
Before we saw a Copa, now a 5 GT Turbo. The streets of Venturada seemed from another era
Renault 5 Copa and Renault Fuego, cars to enjoy
The Seat Ibiza and Malaga are increasingly well regarded. These were very good

The Citroën selection was quite complete: Several Traction Avant, 2CV, Tiburín, CX ...
Citroën DS and CX, the latter successor to the former
Renault 15, quite rare
As is often the case, clumps were generated around the hoods

Clásicos Venturada 2016: An open-air museum
Thus, the organizers achieved the desired 'time travel effect'. It was a pleasure to see the streets traveled by fans and neighbors who stopped at every moment to delight in the classics that marked their youth or childhood.
Around midday the barbaboa began to be prepared, whose income of 1.900 euros went to the Food Bank. In my opinion, and I spent the whole morning there, nothing was lacking, so I congratulate Clásicos Venturada and encourage them to repeat next year. I leave you with the rest of the photos!
Now yes, here are the 8 M3 of the monographic exhibition

V12? One could spend hours talking about the BMW 8 Series engine
Now that the centenary is celebrated, it is good to look at how BMW has grown: We see here an 8 Series from the early 90s next to a 1600 from the late 60s
