Clásicos Sigüenza Club is back on the road

Juan I. Salmerón. Sigüenza Classics Club

As I traced the curves and counter curves on my way home, driving my '850 blue SEAT 71 Especial, I was moving along the road between Condemios de Arriba and Hiendelaencina. Road full of green ravines of brightly colored pine trees and large branches that barely let the sun pass through them, enjoying a beautiful October afternoon. With the window down and smelling those wonderful pine forests warmed by the mid-afternoon sun, my memory still continued remembering the magnificent day spent in the concentration of classic vehicles, motorcycles and cars that, with great success, had prepared the Sigüenza Classics Club.

Of course, a great experience for the senses!

It all started on that morning of October 10, where At 09:30 the registration for the participants of the concentration of classics in the beautiful park of La Alameda was opened, in Sigüenza. The morning dawned covered and fresh, making us think that the rain could even accompany us in some part of its route, although nothing could be further from reality since shortly before arriving in Jadraque, an hour after starting the route, a splendid Sun was already accompanying us putting enough temperance so that in the morning, and the rest of the day, we could enjoy a magnificent autumn day enjoying our hobby.

About 10:30 a.m. The 86 registered participants divided into 32 cars and 14 motorcycles, we started the route starting from the CM-1101 until the Baides detour, then later on the GU-149 and after passing the towns of Viana de Jadraque and Huérmeces de Cerro connect with the CM-101 towards Jadraque until the junction of the GU-157 after passing through Cendejas del Medio and Matillas take the CM-1003 until reaching Jadraque, where we had a filling lunch while our vehicles were resting.

We resume the route from Jadraque along the CM-101, Carrascosa and Espinosa de Henares, until we join the CM-1001 to reach Cogolludo, where the beautiful Palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli is located. From there and through the small and magnificent road for our vehicles, the GU-143, passing through Arbancón and Jocar, we arrive at Tamajón, where taking the GU-211 we enter through Almiruete and Palancares on the route of the black architecture of the charming towns in the northwest of the province of Guadalajara. Valverde de los Arroyos, Humbralejo, La Huerce and Galve de Sorbe, for finish only 6 km later the route arriving at the Plaza de Condemios de Arriba where a magnificent paella awaited us and a lively chat commenting on the details of such a magnificent route.

Parking in the garage my blue SEAT 850 Special from '71, where its irons had their well-deserved rest, I was already waiting for the call of a new route prepared by the Sigüenza Classics Club to once again feel that pleasant sensation that keeps our senses awake .

From the Club we thank you for your assistance and we want to have all of you again at the next rally.

What do you think?
