Classics at Chanoe: A Worthy Premiere!

[dropcap] E [/ dropcap] Last Sunday the first edition of "Classics in Chanoe". We were nervous, you never know what could happen in a premiere, but fortunately everything went smoothly: Little by little the classics were arriving to fill the three car parks set up for this purpose and, according to our calculations, we received around 300. It was great! Thank you all!

Regarding the fair, we had few but brave exhibitors and we tried to make the room chanoe a cozy place where details were taken care of. Good heating, fireplaces, live music and plenty of space to relax and chat in good company. Saving distances, something like an ACE Café to the Spanish to whom we hope you will return.

In the parking lot we received around 300 classics, a real pleasure!

Inside the room it was possible to warm up next to a Porsche 356 Speedster and the Bonneville Harley ...

Cozy room, busy parking lot

El Car Corral The trading area was rather small ... A single car but very cute, a Mini 850 that we did not hesitate to plant in the middle of the room in recognition of the confidence of its owner. On the other side of the ship we could enjoy nothing more and nothing less than an authentic Porsche 356 Speedster together with a Harley-Davidson from the 50s with a long history in our country. At the entrance portal, around 30 motorcycles welcomed the visitor.

Already in the car parks everything was ready to enjoy the greater variety possible from classics, from the Jaguar E to the Citroën Visa, from the Porsche 911 to the Dodge Dart and 3700 GT through a beautiful veteran Mercedes, a Pontiac with a genuine American flavor or the many members of the Seat family. Thanks to you we got what we wanted, which was to bring together a great cast of vintage vehicles with more than 30 years.

And precisely this is where the criticism has come to us: There are those who have been offended that their treasure could not enter the classic car parks. From here we want to make it clear that it was due to space reasons; We were afraid of overdoing the call, of not being able to manage the meeting with the available resources, and that is why we decided to limit the age to machines prior to 1986. After verifying its viability, we are evaluating raising this date to 1991 to assign its place to all those vehicles that can legally be considered historical.
