TEXT I RIBERA CLASSIC: ARANDA CLASSICS
On May 1 the CLASICOS ARANDA Club held the first edition of its Regularity Rally under the name I CLASSIC OF THE RIBERA in which 48 vehicles and 120 people participated (exceeding expectations since there were many people who stayed on the waiting list).
The route consisted of a 68-kilometer section that ran through the towns of Fuentespina, Fuentelcesped, Valdevacas, Moral de Hornuez, Montejo, Maderuelo and Santa Cruz de la Salceda. A very beautiful route between mountains and the Linares reservoir that the participants liked very much.
They attended the event teams from all over the countryprofessionals, as well as amateurs, being highlighted the large presence of the Friends of the Classics Paredes de Navas (Palencia), as well as the teams from Ponferrada, Cantabria and the Royal Biker Club of Vizcaya who with their professionalism and experience supported this first initiative of the CLÁSICOS ARANDA Club.

The Route, already baptized by the participants as «The Lechazo Rally»Ended with a meal in the Restaurant«The Carpio»From Fuentespina, where everyone could taste the typical products of the land: Ribera wine and a good lamb from Aranda.
The winner was the Ponferada team formed by Alvaro Cubero and Mario Merayo with his AUDI COUPÉ, with 8 points, followed by Jose Aurelio Diaz and Gema Herrera, from Suances (Cantabria) with their PEUGEOT 205 tied at 17 points with the team formed by David Gil Arancibia and Alejandro Adalid with his Mazda Mx5.
From CLUB CLÁSICOS ARANDA we want thank all participants for their support and good disposition in this first Route of Regularity, as well as your congratulations and expressions of affection for the organization of it.
We place you again on May 1, 2020 in what will be the 2nd EDITION OF LA RIBERA CLASSIC, and before that the November 1, 2 and 3 at the National Kedada that we organize at RIBERCLASSIC, Festival de Clásicos de la Ribera, in Aranda de Duero, where we will celebrate the X Anniversary of the CLUB Scirocco, among other things such as talks, route, exhibition, elegance contest, rounds on the circuit, good lamb and good wine that cannot be missed in the Ribera.
