Citroën DS in Video: An Extraordinary Classic

VIDEO: ANTONIO SILVA AND MANAGE MOTOR

There is only one word that can define the Citroen ds since its launch in 1955 and during its more than 20 years of life and evolution, and it is none other than 'Extraordinary'. The Gallic engineers knew how to create a technological dream, functional, safe, once again placing your brand as a reference in the automotive world.

From the point of view of a server, the car only has one but ... Its old-fashioned engine, developed at the beginning of the 11th century and which essentially powered its predecessor, the Citroen XNUMX. Although in the end, thanks to its reputation for solidity, it became another selling point. In addition, the car won the Monte Carlo Rally and other international events in two editions, thus demonstrating that its stability, safety and grip were superior to the rest.

Think about the equipment of our guest today: its characteristic hydraulic suspension, its directional headlights, a semi-automatic transmission or a 'button' brake; all combined with excellent aerodynamic efficiency. This magical technological cocktail converted to Citroën ds in a car desired and loved by all, even if the sudden loss of fluids could lead to disaster.

I am not exactly a person in love with the brand of the 2 chevrons, quite the opposite; and I can assure you that this Citroen Ds21 it has conquered me. Comfortable, elegant, luxurious, beautifully restored and maintained; I now understand how iconic the model is and why its owners love it. Enjoy the filming and montage made by Alejandro Rubio for Manage Engine, whose quality is, at least, at the height of this Shark.
