With the beginning of the commercialization of the exhibition space, the XXXV edition of the Barcelona International Classic Vehicle Show begins. AutoRetro Barcelona 2018 It will have interesting news, one of the most prominent being its new location on the calendar. The Dean of Classics Show will be held from October 18 to 21 and will occupy an area close to 50.000 square meters dedicated to promoting the classic motor from the commercial, business and leisure aspects.
The organizing company ERMEvents and Fira de Barcelona have reached an agreement that guarantees stability in the fair calendar of this event 3 the coming years.
This measure meets the demand of a high percentage of exhibitors, who consider that October it is a more suitable date commercially for the celebration of AutoRetro.
New Dates in October for Auto Retro Barcelona 2018
Two pavilions and the Plaza del Universo of Fira de Barcelona-Montjuïc will concentrate the exhibition and entertainment offer of this edition. In pavilion 2 the commercial action of the Show will meet with the presence of companies and professionals from the classics sector; in Hall 1 the participatory activities of the event will be located, with new dynamic proposals in which we will see cars and motorcycles with history in action; and in the Plaza del Universo the classic visitor parking and the restaurant and recreation areas will be relocated.
AutoRetro It will open its doors on Thursday, October 18, with the programming of the Preview Day for Collectors, dedicated to promoting commercial activity in a more relaxed environment with fewer crowds and will encourage the active participation of clubs, offering subsidized exhibition space. We will have the Car & Bike Corral, aimed at promoting the purchase and sale of classic vehicles between individuals.
The commercial action of restaurateurs, marketers and automobilia will be completed with an intense program of parallel activities that will include the celebration of monographic exhibitions, tributes, presentations, conferences, the Montjuïc Legend Series, classic tours of the old Barcelona circuit layout, and the Start Your Engines-Ignite your engines, which in this edition will have a new format.
