The Air-cooled Porsches, or aircooled Porsches, concentrate the essences of the brand, since that was the original configuration of the brand's models. That is why there are concentrations like the Luftgekühlt, which literally means “cooled air” which, in this latest edition, has collected more than 200 units from porsche air cooled. For the first time, the concentration was held in Poland, an event in which participants and visitors enjoyed two unforgettable days.
The setting chosen has been unbeatable, with the Dworzec Świebodzki railway station (Wrocław) as a backdrop. Besides, Participants came from numerous locations throughout Europe., including the United Kingdom or Scandinavia, all to make up the higher concentration of Porsche never held in Poland. Suffice to say, the event was sold out.
In addition to celebrate the passion for Porsche brand, the idea behind the Luftgekühlt is to broaden the horizons of the participants. In this case, adding the possibility of discover a new country like Poland with the excuse of enjoying the hobby of cars.
A WHOLE PORSCHE COLLECTION AIRCOOLED
At the train station, a catwalk was installed along which the most special models present at the Luftgekühlt paraded, for example, a pair of Porsche 356 Speedster of Polish owners. The brand's museum also wanted to support the event, sending some very exclusive pieces like the Porsche 908/03 Spyder who won the 1.000 km of Nurburgring in 1970.
Furthermore, it displaced un 911 SC Safari, a 911 964 RS Race and a spectacular Porsche 959, the most desired model of the brand in the 80 decade of. Patrick Long, one of the founders of the air-cooled Porsche meetings, who was a driver for the brand, led un 917 and a 935 martini decor from your collection. She was also able to enjoy a fantastic Porsche 962C from the Brun team.
The lucky visitors were able to walk through the premises and enjoy gems such as the oldest Porsche registered in Poland, 356 Pre-A, as well as a 911 Red Polo T from the sixties, original on the outside and restored on the inside. There was not one missing spectacular collection of air-cooled 911s of all the generations that gave color to the event.
ROAD TO DENMARK
Porsche fans who they enjoyed the Luftgekühlt They were able to share the history of the models present there. There were even families who took the opportunity to make the trip together, showing that the passion for the Stuttgart brand knows no age. In the end, it is precisely that, because the event seeks to be much more than a simple car exhibition.
After this enormous success, the next edition of the air-cooled Porsche concentration will take place on September 6 and 7. The chosen place is Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, where it hopes to exceed the number of participating cars.
