40 years don't come every day, so from Club 205 Spain they are celebrating the anniversary of the popular Peugeot in style. We already saw it in ClassicMadrid, where they had their own stand and helped set up the one for Peugeot Spain. Of course, they don't neglect their usual activities either, such as the national -KDD- meeting, which is now in its 16th edition.
The meeting took place from March 10 to 12 and, on this occasion, the city chosen as the meeting point was Cuenca, known, among other things, for its popular hanging houses. Almost thirty units of the Peugeot 205 arriving from different parts of the Iberian Peninsula traveled there.
First part of the province was covered, which did not disappoint at all, either because of the fantastic landscapes or the fun roads that the caravan traveled on. These allowed the members of the club to have a great time at the controls of the 205. In addition, places such as the Enchanted City or the viewpoint of the Devil's Window, all wrapped in a mist that made it even more mystical. There was even some deer that approached the place where the cars were parked.
After the bustle of regional roads, the mandatory meal was held in a roadside restaurant. The collection of parked Peugeot 205s were a magnet for the eyes of the curious. Among the models present, there was no shortage of different versions of the three and five doors, cabriolet or even a rare Multi variant.
IN CUENCA CAPITAL
After lunch, the caravan headed to the capital, where they divided into groups, since there was not a parking lot for all the cars together and, in addition, the participants wanted to do different activities. There were those who went shopping, those who preferred a walk along the river, some even jumped on the zip line. It turned out curious see how the 205 took the city and the members of the club were passing each other through the center of the old town. Next, it was dinner and the board of directors, since there are many events and projects that Club 205 Spain has on the table. Of course, it cannot be denied that they are moving a lot, the legacy of the Peugeot 205 is in the best hands.
On Sunday, after a good breakfast to gain strength, the delegation set out to explore a small route in which to enjoy driving the 205. Subsequently, the cars were parked in the upper part of Cuenca, specifically in the area of the Castle. There, the thirty Peugeots immediately became the center of attention, while the members of the club took the opportunity to go on a sightseeing tour of the city.
The national gathering of Club 205 Spain It ended after a long and entertaining fellowship meal, saying goodbye to the club members in a great atmosphere of camaraderie, how could it be otherwise.
